Hi, There are many links which tend to point to the fact that varnish can be used to persist cache across restarts. However, I have not been able to get it working for me yet. I also saw few queries on the net which did not give a clear explanation or answer on how to get it working. I believe I need a trunk version of the source code which probably has the persistence implemented as an experiment? Please let me know if I can get varnish to work with a persistent cache and where to get the version which would have persistent mode implemented in it?
I have been trying to get varnish running on persistent mode using following options.-P /var/run/varnish.pid -a :80 -T *:6082 -f /etc/varnish/rediff.vcl -u varnish -g varnish -s persistent,/var/lib/varnish/varnish_storage.bin,500G
Thanks,Neel
