varnish *slowing* down site, any ideas?

Is this content-type right? It is possible that the browser may be trying to figure out what to do with the response.

You're also overriding your expire in your VCL - this may be intentional.

Since it is pulled right from varnish, it seems odd that this would be it. Does wget or apachebench lag on that particular request? Are you able to duplicate it in other browsers?
