Add Dummy Values to Varnish

Hello,
My requirement is to Purge the Varnish cache set from an application. I
need to implement this without setting the target application. Is there
anyway to add dummy values to Varnish cache. In Redis cache we have 'set'
command to set values, is there something similar available in Varnish?
Please let me know if more details are required
