 I have found that if I use any regular expression match at all in a custom
 VCL file, I still get this error (using Varnish 1.0.4, installed via
 MacPorts).

 Using the ~ operator on an ACL is okay, but e.g. using req.url ~
 "\.(css|js)" in an if() statement causes Varnish to fail with the
 dlclose() assertion error.
