Comment:

 I'm unable to reproduce this with gcc 4.2.0 on FreeBSD 7.

 In any case, the correct fix is to spell {{{false}}} as {{{FALSE}}}, which
 is defined somewhere within the bowels of {{{<curses.h>}}}.
