Comment:

 The limit of open filehandles is set to 1024. On a lightly loaded server
 (dozen requests per second at most) it is surprising that this number
 would be reached unless. With a default of 2 thread pools and 500 threads
 per pool we might be close if varnish would never close a filehandle.

 I don't think varnish should use that many filehandles on this kind of
 load - it feels like a bug.
