 When starting varnish, visitors experience 503 errors until the backends
 are deemed healthy.  Depending on the choice of config, this might take
 between a few seconds and a few minutes.

 This was raised by another user at http://projects.linpro.no/pipermail
 /varnish-dist/2009-May/000105.html, but no response was received.

 Is there an existing configuration flag for ".assumehealthyonboot = true"
 or similar, and if not, can one be added?

 I'm happy to offer a cash bounty to get this feature added.
