#538: [varnish-2.0.4] Potential Memory Leak

Comment (by olau):
By the way, I'm using Varnish from a Debian package (backport to lenny),
and this is on a virtual server, but apparently I have the same problem on
another non-virtual server running Debian testing. Interestingly it's got
a purge too, which I don't know where comes from. The pattern is the same,
more virtual memory than allowed by the memory mapped file and much more
resident memory than what can be explained by the "bytes allocated"
statistic.
