 I'm receiving an "http read error: 11" in my varnish log which corresponds
 to a blank page and a 503 response sent to the end user. I have a
 vcl_error block set up to make the 503's look nice but this error bypasses
 that process.

 Varnish 2.0.6
 64bit architecture
 Virtual Machine (vmWare)
 8GB RAM
 OS: Ubuntu 8.04 kernel 2.6.24-26-server x86_64
 Backend: Plone 3.3.2
