 specs:

 opensolaris / poll event handler (eventports is broken on opensolaris).

 Issue:

 Connections seem to stall out on builds r4445 and up.

 Last known trunk build that worked well was r4443. I think the changes
 done in r4445 have had a negative impact on functionality.
