 I removed the running varnishd from /usr/local/sbin. Rechecked out a new
 trunk from svn 5491,  compiled and manually copied the compiled binary to
 /usr/local/sbin.

 [root at kitty1 install]# varnishd -V
 varnishd (varnish-trunk SVN 5491)
 Copyright (c) 2006-2009 Linpro AS / Verdens Gang AS

 I even checked the 5491 commit file to make sure the change you made is
 there.
