 I've cloned your repo and I'm planning on doing some minor tweaks.

 Since I've not had time to use this (but I'm about to), the only obvious
 issues I have with it are stylistic.

 All in all I think Magnus' version is somewhat easier to deal with in it's
 current state. There are features in your variant that are interesting,
 but I'm curious if the interface isn't a bit messy (ie: I see three
 classes and a run function, as opposed to a single class).

 I also thought Thread was deprecated in favor of Threading?
