#766: Varnish Redirect Issue when User-Agent contains the string "connec"

Version: 2.0 | Severity: major
Keywords: Redirect User-Agent |

Comment(by s.christiansen):
The configuration really seems to be fine - the redirecting of mobile user
agents works just great otherwise.
It still is the only problem that a redirect is taking place from
www.wetter.info to mobil.wetter.info once the user agent request header
contains anything that smells of "connec". :-(
We already checked all of our matching patterns for the user agents - the
string "connec" cannot be found in the whole Varnish configuration
whatsoever.
We suspect that there might be a connection with the "Connection: close"
response headers that are being used in this system; I have seen 'mixed
up' HTTP headers here at some point already.
So the assumption at this point is that there are User Agent request
headers which, by error, actually contain the string "Connection: close"
(or part of it). This then would end up somehow confusing the matching..
the picture is not very clear yet.
We'll check on that.
