Comment:

 How often does this occur?

 I notice 880G malloc. How much of that is physical memory and how much is
 swap? Does 'dmesg' reveal anything?

 What is the actual storage used, as I assume it's not 880G of RAM.

 Also, how much was the back trace modified from the original? (Ie: what
 parts).

 The specific assert indicates memory corruption of some sort. Any
 additional information you might have with regards to this specific system
 and/or problem would be helpful.
