Comment:

 After reviewing this a few times, it looks like this is a configuration
 issue of some sort related to your site (in combination with Varnish).

 I recommend you use the varnish-misc mail list for this (you'll have a
 much bigger audience).

 I'm closing the bug report as this doesn't point to a real bug in Varnish.
 Feel free to re-open the bug if it seems like it really is a bug after
 consulting the varnish-misc mail list.
