 At first glance, this sounds more like a configuration issue than a bug in
 Varnish. As such, I am closing the ticket.

 I suggest you explain the problem and environment on the varnish-misc mail
 list (see http://www.varnish-cache.org/support for details) ­– you'll have
 a much larger audience.

 If you're still convinced this is a bug after you've discussed the matter
 on varnish-misc you are free to re-open the ticket of course.
