 Hi,

 I have tried to recreate what you are experiencing, but to no success.
 Could you tell a little more under which circumstances you experience
 this? Is the server under high load at the time? Cache full? Does it
 happen every time or just occasionally?

 Also if you could provide the full varnishlog of the request, including
 the client connection part, when it fails that would be most helpful. The
 output of 'varnishstat -1' as well please.
