 Tested on 3.0.2-rc1 with patch from #1036 applied.

 If VGZ_ObufStorage() should fail in vfp_vep_callback()
 (cache_esi_fetch.c), vef->error is set. This makes vfp_esi_end() assert on
 missing errorhandling code.
