 I made some more test and the problem is more generic than I wrote before:

 I have the same problem without the range: header... if I try downloading
 a file (let's say a 10 Mb file) s_bodybytes will be incremented by 10Mb
 even if I stop the download after a few bytes (of course if my client uses
 heavily the range: header to split a file in many chunks the overall stats
 will be more inaccurates)
