Comment:

 I'm sorry for the delay on this ticket.

 We're sort of trying to get away from the "magic-knob" concept inherent in
 all the "do foobar" options, so I'm not really keen on this addition.

 We're currently discussing (low volume indeed) an idea for a new
 "vcl_lookup" method, where things like purge, grace and saint could be
 implemented in a more "VCL-like" way.

 I'd appreciate if we could find a way to roll this idea into that work,
 rather than add yet a magic knob.

 Finally, we don't use our ticket system for feature requests, (we have
 "patchwork" running on the -dev list for that now) so I'm closing this
 ticket as invalid.
