Comment:

 This looks like a failure of your resolver. Is your resolver by any chance
 dnsmasq? If so, could you try pointing it at something else such as a
 local bind or google's DNS or similar and see if the problem goes away?

 Since this bug looks a lot like a similar bug we've seen in the past that
 is a bug in the environment, I'm closing it. We might be adding a
 workaround in varnishtest for this at a later stage, though.

 If you are not using dnsmasq, please reopen av we'll dig further.
