 I suggest the following to resolve this issue:
 - Drop ',' separated filters. This fixes specifying names containing ','
 - Multiple filters needs to be specified using multiple -f options
 - Specifying '.' characters needs to be done using escapes (the
 alternative is to use some other character for delimiting VSC fields,
 which I think makes for a much bigger change)
