 In 4.0.2, I could monitor the varnish process by saying:

 {{{
 root at server:~# service varnish status
 [ ok ] varnishd is running.
 }}}

 After updating to 4.0.3, it seems that `status_of_proc -p ...` was changed
 to `start-stop-daemon --status --quiet ...` so the command does not print
 anything to stdin anymore.

 OS: Debian Wheezy

 Is this intended?
