Define a different director with the same backends. Count restarts. Select a different backend in each incrementation of restart.

Subject: Retries after X amount of time

Hello all,

Is it possible to have Varnish retry another backend if a certain backend doesn't response after a certain timeout when using a director?

If I understand correctly, the .retries option in the random director is used to find a healthy director and doesn't account of a request to a certain director that died after a timeout. Is it a correct statement?

Thanks,
Eran
