Error compiling VCL using varnish-2.1.2 (Regexp compilation error: nothing to repeat)

as this doesn't seem relevant to Varnish development, would you mind
asking user questions on the -misc list, please?  Also, it would be
appreciated if you could get your email client to not send HTML escapes
in the plain text part.
