vcl_timeout in varnish 2.1.5

Hi All,

We are migrating from varnish 2.0.6 to 2.1.5.   We have some VCL and C code in 'vcl_timeout' function that we need to execute whenever there is timeout event.
>From the varnish-cache website, it looks like 'vcl_timeout' is not supported anymore in 2.1.*.    What is the alternative?  How can I  capture 'vcl_timeout' in 2.1.5?
