"Total body bytes" not actually bytes delivered?

I don't have time right now to write a test program or 100% verify that 
this was going on, but I'm pretty sure it was from watching varnishstat. 
  Would you rather I file a bug now with just the info I've got, or wait 
until I have time to make it more rigorous?
