2.1.x -> 3.x

yes, I did found this documents and I've made a lot of changes to my
config and now varnish starts, yet I'm getting

"The service is not available. Please try again later."

whenever I tried to access my website...

through "varnishlog" I keep seeing this (no matter what I do)

    0 CLI          - Rd ping
    0 CLI          - Wr 200 19 PONG 1313488237 1.0

from that environment I've tried to reach out to my backends, no problem
but varnish somehow i guess isn't able or something else is wrong and
I can't figure out what it is...
