Varnish & Load

Our configuration assumes we will be running Varnish processes on
each of two web servers behind an F5 load balancer.

We accept that multiple Varnish instances will lead to differences in what's cached.

But is it better to have each Varnish instance load-balance both the web process
running on the same server AND the web process running on the other server,
or just provide caching for the web process running on the local server?

Thanks,
Lissa
