Does hash_always_miss remove older objects?

According to:

When using "set req.hash_always_miss = true"...
> The downside of this approach is that it will not free up the older 
objects until they expire, as of Varnish 3.0.2. This is considered a flaw 
and a fix is expected. 

Has this behaviour been fixed?
