Varnish 3.0.3 http error

Hi,

I've been through some of the archives on the list and have seen some similar problems. I was wondering if anyone can tell why this particular HTTP error might be caused? I also contacted the jetpack developers since it is their plugin returning the HTTP error from apache on the backend. If varnish is taken out of the setup the 302 redirect returned from apache functions properly. I can recreate the issue on a development system, and all other page loads are fine. 

Our setup: RHEL6, Pound 2.6.2, Varnish 3.0.3, Apache 2.2.15, php-fpm 5.3.21

I'd welcome any advice.
