Stop users accessing website via IP address

I guess I am confused as to why you need the rewrite.

sub vcl_recv {
	if(req.http.Host ~ "8.8.8.8") { error 750; }
}

sub vcl_error {
	if(obj.status == 750) { 
		 set obj.http.Location = "http://google.com/login"; 
		 set obj.status = 302; 
		 return (deliver); 
	}
}
