Stop disabled backend health polling

In my tests, Varnish start to poll backends with health probes as soon I
load the new VCL. And if I remove one of the backends in a director,
varnish stops to pass requests, but it continue sending health probes to
the disabled backend even without passing requests. The request passing
availability on backend change starts on "vcl.use"

Is there a way to stop probes to disabled backends without restart
Varnish?
