Good alternatives include (in rough order of recomendation):

Haproxy:	http://haproxy.1wt.eu
Stud: 		https://github.com/bumptech/stud
Pound: 		http://www.apsis.ch/pound
Stunnel:  	https://www.stunnel.org/index.html

Note: haproxy only supports termination fully in the 1.5 dev branch but
       this is a lot more stable than the most dev software. You can also
       combine it with stud, pound or stunnel
