Hi,

i'm in the progress of migrating from varnish 3 to varnish 4. Now there
is a slight problem with the cli interface.

I'm starting varnish with

/usr/local/sbin/varnishd -P /var/run/varnishd.pid -a
'129.187.39.180:80,127.0.0.1:443,[2001:4ca0:2e03::1:180]:80' -T
127.0.0.1:6082 -f /usr/local/etc/varnish/portal.vcl -s
file,/data/varnish/varnish.store,10g -h classic,16383 -u www -g www -l
512m -p vcc_allow_inline_c=on

these is no -S option there, but when I try to connect to the cli
interface.

telnet localhost 6082
Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.

Authentication required.

why is authentication required how can I deactivate it.

I'm running

varnishd (varnish-4.0.3 revision b8c4a34)

on FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE-p17
