Urgent : Panic message:#012Assert error in vbf_fetch_thread()

Hi,
I'm using Varnish version 4.0.2 and noticing the following messages intermittently in production. Is this fixed in version 4.0.3? Can we safely upgrade to that version assuming it will resolve the problem?
Can you please help me with this?
