varnish 3 and FetchError http first read error: -1 0 (Success)

Hi,

this post https://www.varnish-cache.org/trac/ticket/968 talks about the
exact problem and points to problems with the backend used by Varnish
not Varnish itself.

This could/should be worth investigating.
