Each apache server host the same multiple sites on each node. Are you looking to split request for certain sites to a particular apache/backend server?<br>
I can take one backend sever out of service and varnish will not send request to that server.</blockquote><div><br></div><div>My setup is much simpler. Just one physical server with multiple IP addresses. The server.ip with multiple backends worked perfectly. </div>
