fallout after recent merges

Hi Nils,

I have addressed the flexlint issues, but it seems that new ones appeared
after merging https://github.com/varnishcache/varnish-cache/pull/3994, I
still don't understand what they are complaining about, I'll try to look
closer.
I haven't looked at vtest yet.
