 I got similar assertion on 04.09.2007 trunk:

 I am running PLD Linux 2.0ac 2.6.16.52-1smp on Intel hardware with 8g of
 ram.
 These errors seem to appear in bunch. It could be that it cannot allocate
 something and then cannot delete as well, but that is just a guess.

 plz let me know if you need more info.
