 You don't tell what "the first compile issue" is for which you provide a
 fix, I'm not terribly keen in importing fixes if I don't even know what
 they're supposed to fix.

 NAN comes from <math.h> according to C99 (page 197 in the draft PDF I
 have) and cache_center.c #includes that.

 Can you please check that your <math.h> in fact does define NAN as it
 should ?
