Comment:

 Yes, we want to support outbound compression. No, we don't support it
 right now.

 We keep most feature enhancements in http://varnish-
 cache.org/wiki/PostTwoShoppingList and gzip-support is on the list, and a
 high priority.

 Basically: we're on it, but we don't use the bug tracker to track feature
 requests.
