 Using trunk version (Feb 26, 2010) on Fedora:

 I tried to read the log file using either varnishncsa or varnishlog and
 received the following error:
 # varnishncsa
 Cannot open /var/lib/varnish/domU-12-31-38-04-6C-93/_.vsl: No such file or
 directory

 When I created the file and directory I received:
 # varnishncsa
 Cannot read /var/lib/varnish/domU-12-31-38-04-6C-93/_.vsl: Success

 It seems like no log file was created and nothing could be read by
 varnishlog and varnishncsa
