[Varnish] #850: jemalloc fails to init on Ubuntu 8.04

We've used 2.1.4 heavily on 8.04 LTS with jemalloc with no issues, so I
would suggest looking at your environment for a possible cause (mixed
library versions, changes to paths (PATH/LD_LIBRARY_PATH/LD_PRELOAD), etc).
Also, I'm not sure I would come to the same conclusion you have seeing that
strace... but the "..." that was omitted from the trace would probably be
the most useful.
