My problem with this concept is that objects have three lifetimes:

	age + ttl

	age + ttl + grace

	age + ttl + grace + keep

Which one are we talking about, and why ?

Second question:  What do you need the lifetime for ?

Third question:  Wouldn't it be better to explicitly show which lifetime
you want, using one of the three additions above ?
