max simultaneous connections per client IP

I am using the .max_connections config to limit the total maximum
simultaneous connections to the backend server. Is it also possible to have
a maximum on the number of simultaneous connections per client IP? So e.g.
have .max_connections = 10, but only 2 per client IP.
