Varnishstat problems with 3.0.5 in Debian Squeeze

there's already a dependency from the varnish package to libvarnishapi1:

dep: libvarnishapi1 (>= 3.0.0)
    shared libraries for Varnish

(c.f. https://packages.debian.org/squeeze-backports/varnish )


but that's why it didn't upgrade automatically when you bumped version
to squeeze-backports: then it means the dependency is not high enough,
it should be >= 3.0.5


you should report a bug on the debian package to describe your issue and
the fix you've used, and suggest to update the dependency on the package.
