How to use bereq.backend

Hi,

The following lines do not work in vcl_backend_error()

bereq.backend == directorXYZ.backend()

-> Backend not found: 'directorXYZ.backend'

bereq.backend == directorXYZ

-> Backend not found: 'directorTip'

bereq.backend == "directorXYZ"

-> Expected ID got '"directorXYZ"'

Whats the right syntax?
